Volleyball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Moreno Valley Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Valley View was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Moreno Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-11.

Valley View has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Garden Grove on the 18th. As for Moreno Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Hemet on the 20th.
