Andre Thomas leads a balanced attack to beat Erwin

Recap: Asheville Cougars vs. Erwin Warriors
The Asheville Cougars won the last time they faced the Erwin Warriors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Asheville walked away with a 60-49 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back wins for Asheville.
Asheville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andre Thomas out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Shaw, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Asheville's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Erwin, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Asheville will take on the Rockets at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Erwin, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Titans at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st. McDowell is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
