Lugoff-Elgin extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Hayden Stokes. The Demons blew past the Ridge View Blazers 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Stokes, who had 11 digs and two assists. Stokes is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-18.

Lugoff-Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ridge View, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lugoff-Elgin is set to square off against their familiar foe Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridge View will face off against rival West Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
