There's no place like home for Westover, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Seventy-First Falcons 2-1. Brett Fetzer had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Westover.

Westover moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Seventy-First, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Westover is set to challenge their familiar foe E.E. Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Seventy-First will square off against rival South View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
