Volleyball Recap: Millennium Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Millennium was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mountain Ridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Corona del Sol Aztecs on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled against the Aztecs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.

Corona del Sol's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrya Vance, who had 24 digs. Those 24 digs gave Vance a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Clark, who had 17 digs and three assists.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Corona del Sol, their win bumped their record up to 30-5.

Coming up, Millennium will welcome Sunnyslope at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Corona del Sol, they are taking a road trip to take on Xavier College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Aztecs surely won't give up without a fight.
