Volleyball Recap: Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs vs. Ansley/Litchfield Spartans

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller lost against Ansley/Litchfield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-14, 17-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Despite the loss, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Hrasky had 32 digs. Those 32 digs set a new season-high mark for Hrasky. Another player making a difference was Avery Harder, who had ten digs and nine assists.
