Basketball Game Preview: Lake Placid Dragons vs. Moore Haven Terriers + How To Watch

The Lake Placid Dragons will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Moore Haven Terriers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Placid is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They were outmatched by Okeechobee and fell 51-15. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Nahir Villanueva was Lake Placid's leading scorer, having posted six points. Arianna Perez held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Meanwhile, Moore Haven strolled past Fort Meade with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Terriers.

Lake Placid came out on top in a nail-biter against Moore Haven when the teams last played back in November of 2023, sneaking past 43-40. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Terriers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
