Baseball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Comes Up Short

Eagleton College & Career Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the Grainger Grizzlies.

Eagleton College & Career Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Cope, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Grainger, they moved to 4-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagleton College & Career Academy will host Rockwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grainger, they will be playing at home against Volunteer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
