Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Denver Jewish Day on Tuesday, Rocky Mountain Lutheran came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Two Roads Charter School Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Rocky Mountain Lutheran lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 15-13.

Izzy Curtis paced Rocky Mountain Lutheran's offense, picking up seven kills. Curtis were helped by Alyiah Trujillo and Jadyn Morgan, who contributed nine assists each. Sofia Meza-Villa controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Two Roads Charter School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Rocky Mountain Lutheran will be playing at home against Front Range Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Two Roads Charter School, they will host Nederland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
