It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tidehaven had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Stockdale Brahmas 40-22. The victory was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

When it comes to explaining why Stockdale lost, don't look at Coy Gann. Despite the final result, he rushed for 190 yards and three scores. Gann's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 161 rushing yards. Stockdale also got a significant boost from Ricky Ayala, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 94 yards.

Tidehaven's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Stockdale, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Tidehaven wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 31-3 victory against Blanco on the 28th. Stockdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
