Volleyball Game Preview: Newark Catholic Green Wave vs. New Bremen Cardinals

The Newark Catholic Green Wave will challenge the New Bremen Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Newark Catholic comes in on 25 and New Bremen on nine.

Newark Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on South Webster with a sharp 3-0 win.

Newark Catholic was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-10.

Meanwhile, New Bremen beat Tinora 3-1 on Saturday.

The victory didn't come easy: Tinora scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22.

Newark Catholic's win bumped their record up to 25-0. As for New Bremen, their victory bumped their record up to 25-2.

Newark Catholic couldn't quite get it done against New Bremen in their previous meeting back in November of 2020 as they fell 3-1. Can the Green Wave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
