Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian Takes a Loss

Grace Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Homer Mariners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mariners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17-1. As for Homer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Grace Christian and Homer will both be playing Nikiski the next time they take the court. The Mariners will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:55 p.m. on Friday, while the Grizzlies will play them later in the day, at 9:40 p.m.
