Soccer Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short

Chrisman fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Belton on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. Chrisman just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Belton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chrisman will square off against Ruskin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chrisman will be up against Ruskin's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Belton, they will face off against Grain Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
