Volleyball Recap: Newton (Home School) Find Success

Newton (Home School) lost to Tournament Opponent back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mustangs came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Newton (Home School) took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7.

Kasodi Schroeder paced Newton (Home School)'s offense, picking up seven kills. Schroeder got some help from Hannah Hoelscher and her ten assists. Schroeder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Newton (Home School)'s win bumped their record up to 17-9.

Newton (Home School) has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Life Prep on the 18th. As for Tournament Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Galena on the 18th.
