Last Saturday, West Seneca East lost to Cheektowaga at home by a 78-60 margin. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lake Shore's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to Fredonia. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hillbillies 16-12 in the first quarter.

Lake Shore's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Seneca East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
