Baseball Recap: Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy Comes Up Short

Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans. The WolfPack were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Caleb Foytack made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Grove, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Upper Dauphin Area, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe East Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Upper Dauphin Area will challenge rival Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
