Aspen and Bayfield squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Aspen had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. The Skiers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Among those leading the charge was Maeli Quintana, who had eight digs and three aces. Player #24 also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Aspen's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Bayfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Aspen has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Forge Christian on the 14th. As for Bayfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Eaton on the 13th.
