Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Hills vs. Ocean View

Laguna Hills is on a three-game streak of home losses, Ocean View a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Laguna Hills Hawks will host the Ocean View Seahawks at 5:15 p.m. Laguna Hills' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Laguna Hills is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 16. Neither they nor Valencia could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Ocean View came up short against Valencia on Tuesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Seahawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 835th, while the Tigers are ranked 205th).

Ocean View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-2. Laguna Hills' draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-3.

Laguna Hills took their victory against Ocean View in their previous meeting back in December of 2014 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Laguna Hills repeat their success, or does Ocean View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
