Volleyball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca lost against Morris back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of Morris by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Seneca was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Morris work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 21-25, 15-5.

Cami Pfeifer was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Morris, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-6.

Seneca has already played their next matchup (against Serena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Morris, they will be playing at home against Kaneland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
