Milford won the last time they faced Walled Lake Western and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mavericks came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up seven kills. Pierson got some help from Delaney Heflin and her 17 assists. Millie Ashcroft controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 26-8-1. As for Walled Lake Western, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Milford's road trip will continue as they head out to face Walled Lake Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Walled Lake Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
