Baseball Recap: Tonkawa Comes Up Short

Tonkawa lost against Morrison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tonkawa Buccaneers fell 6-2 to the Morrison Wildcats. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tonkawa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cason Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Westyn Freeman was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Tonkawa now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Morrison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Tonkawa will venture away from home to square off against Garber at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morrison, they will welcome Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
