After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Red Bank, East Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Chattanooga Central Pounders. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pioneers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

East Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chattanooga Central, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
