Basketball Recap: Bentley Skates Past Oakland Military Institute with Ease

Bentley won the last time they faced Oakland Military Institute and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Phoenix really took it to the Grizzlies for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-37 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Phoenix had established a 29-point advantage.

Bentley had a senior duo take command as Paul Foster posted 26 points and Max Westen had 16 points. Gabriel Reed was another key player, putting up nine points.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Sengue, who earned 13 points. Another player making a difference was Easy Dwelley, who scored 13 points.

Bentley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bentley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-38 win against Drew on the 4th. As for Oakland Military Institute, they will face off against Athenian at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
