Football Recap: King Skates Past Shadow Creek with Ease + How To Watch

King had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Shadow Creek Sharks 51-6. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

King had a senior duo take command as Dionne Sims gained 190 total yards and two touchdowns and Timothy Potts threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. Sims got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 96 yards. King's leading receiver Lejerric Clark was Potts' top target yet again, picking up 123 receiving yards and one score.

King didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Shadow Creek to a completion percentage of just 48.4%. The team can thank My'Kah Laster for the heroic effort on defense: he. King has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.

King's defense didn't let Tavis Coleman, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Dominick Toulon and Damian Broussard, who racked up five sacks between them. Thanks to that big game, Toulon is now up to 13 sacks on the season. Kei'Dryn Edmond got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory (which was King's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Shadow Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
