Calvin Christian is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Bonsall on Tuesday. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 68-46 margin over the Legionnaires. The Crusaders pushed the score to 60-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Legionnaires cut but never quite recovered from.

Caleb Lapka was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. What's more, he racked up six assists, the most he's had since back in January. Noah Lampkins was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 10 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Orange Glen came up short against Escondido on Monday and fell 46-37. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Calvin Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Orange Glen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Calvin Christian against Orange Glen in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 64-35 victory. In that contest, the Crusaders amassed a halftime lead of 30-9, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
