Halstead came out on top against Larned on Friday thanks in part to Onnyka Nedich's efforts. Nedich struck out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk), which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Nedich's strong effort led Halstead over Larned and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
