Papillion-LaVista South faced Lincoln Northeast in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Titans came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 8-4. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won six contests in a row.

Emmett Minderman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Minderman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Papillion-LaVista South's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Lincoln Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.
