Football Game Preview: Lakeside Rams vs. Parkview Patriots

Lakeside is 0-4 against Parkview since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lakeside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over Greenbrier. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

It was another big night for Peter Ohman, who rushed for 147 yards and three TDs. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Lakeside also got help from Drew Morgan, who showed off his sure hands for 116 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Parkview beat Harrison 21-17 on Friday.

Lakeside's record is now 9-3. As for Parkview, their record now sits at an identical 9-3.

Lakeside couldn't quite finish off Parkview when the teams last played back in October and fell 24-22. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
