Soccer Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Laurel was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Suitland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DuVal Tigers on Monday. Laurel have struggled against DuVal recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Andy Flores and Adonay Navarrete scored both of Laurel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for DuVal, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
