Softball Recap: Fairless Takes a Loss

Fairless fell victim to Sandy Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 16-0 to the Cardinals. The defeat leaves the Falcons still looking for their first win of the season.

Fairless saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendra Zawadzki, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double was Zawadzki's first of the season.

Fairless' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sandy Valley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Fairless will host Smithville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sandy Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Tuscarawas Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give Sandy Valley their first taste of in-conference action this season.
