Soccer Game Preview: Watauga vs. Foard

The Watauga Pioneers will head out on the road to take on the Foard Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Watauga lost 6-1 to T.C. Roberson on Thursday.

Watauga's goal came courtesy of Madden Maple, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Foard kept a clean sheet against Maiden on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Watauga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Foard, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Watauga beat Foard 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Watauga since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
