Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Trojans vs. Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars

After flying high against Madison on Tuesday, Wakefield came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Wakefield sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 25-18.
