Covenant Christian Academy was dealt a 82-41 loss at the hands of Mount Calvary Christian. Covenant Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-22.
Avery Kopcha was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-12 from long range and dropping a double-double on 41 points and 13 rebounds for Mount Calvary Christian. Kopcha also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Josiah Masters, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Covenant Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Covenant Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Coventry Christian at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
