Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Preparatory Christian Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Memorial Day Matadors 28-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Highlanders just coasted through the last quarter.

First Preparatory Christian Academy moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Memorial Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. First Preparatory Christian Academy will square off against Long County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Tide have yet to allow a single point through nine games this season, a streak the Highlanders will look to end. As for Memorial Day, they will challenge Georgia Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
