Basketball Recap: Coahulla Creek's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Coahulla Creek was riding high fresh off their 59-27 takedown of Armuchee on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Generals on Saturday. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Coahulla Creek still got an impressive performance from Waelyn Baliles, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cade Marti, who put up seven points and ten boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coahulla Creek fell to 2-1.

Coahulla Creek has already played their next game, a 59-43 loss against Signal Mountain on the 24th. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-55 victory against East Hamilton on the 25th.
