Basketball Recap: Flanagan's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Flanagan can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coconut Creek Cougars, sneaking past 62-59. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Flanagan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Carias, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Moesch, who earned nine points.

Flanagan's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Coconut Creek, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Flanagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-48 loss against Nova on the 3rd. Coconut Creek has also already played their next contest, a 74-26 defeat against McArthur on the 30th.
