Lynnfield came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Triton Regional Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-18.

Leading Lynnfield to victory were Elliana Moretti and Sophie Shaievitz. Moretti had 14 digs and seven assists, while Shaievitz had four digs and four aces. Moretti is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Lynnfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 21 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Lynnfield's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Triton Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Lynnfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Triton Regional, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Winthrop on the 25th.
