Basketball Recap: Tishawn Clemmons Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

After losing to Lanphier the last time they met, Decatur Eisenhower decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Decatur Eisenhower Panthers secured a 45-41 W over the Lanphier Lions on Saturday. The 45-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Decatur Eisenhower's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tishawn Clemmons, who posted 12 points and five steals. Clemmons is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Damonte Phillips was another key player, putting up seven points and eight steals.

Decatur Eisenhower now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lanphier, they moved to 5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
