Softball Recap: Alma Comes Up Short

Alma lost against Farmington back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Airedales lost 19-2 to the Cardinals. The Airedales have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alma's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Farmington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Alma is taking a road trip to challenge Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Arrows will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Airedales surely won't give up without a fight. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to take on Rogers Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The War Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.73 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
