Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Montgomery Catholic walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Faith Academy Rams on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Montgomery Catholic's got stronger as the match went on, holding Faith Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Faith Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyleigh Grosz, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Mylee Stagner, who had eight digs.

Montgomery Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-12. As for Faith Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 34-12 record.
