Byne Christian had won eight straight games and Owen McFarlin did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Saints came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 70-65 W against the Furlow Charter School Falcons for which the team can thank McFarlin, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 48% in the last four games he's played.

Byne Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Furlow Charter School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
