Flag Football Recap: Lake Havasu's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games + How To Watch

If Lake Havasu was feeling good fresh off their 24-0 takedown of Alhambra last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 21-9 to the Verrado Vipers on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McKenna Nutt threw for 109 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jurzie Krown rushed for 57 yards on only eight carries.

Verrado found their leader in sophomore Lakisha Guzman, who picked up five sacks and made seven total tackles.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Havasu fell to 6-1. As for Verrado, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2-1.

Lake Havasu wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-7 loss against North on the 23rd. As for Verrado, they will challenge La Joya Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
