Basketball Recap: Neumann Regional Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Daiton Thompson and Andrew Walter

Neumann Regional Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 61-54 to the Jersey Shore Bulldogs. The Golden Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Neumann Regional Academy had strong showings from Andrew Walter, who posted 19 points, and Daiton Thompson, who scored 21 points. Jager Woodring was another key player, putting up nine points.

Neumann Regional Academy's record now sits at 7-15. As for Jersey Shore, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-9.

As of now, neither Neumann Regional Academy nor Jersey Shore have any future games scheduled.
