Volleyball Game Preview: PORTA Bluejays vs. Tri-City Tornadoes

The PORTA Bluejays will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Tri-City Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

PORTA saw some tournament action back in September. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Triopia/Virginia. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Tri-City also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Mt. Olive by a score of 2-0.

While Tri-City had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

PORTA's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tri-City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-26.
