Football Game Preview: Arvin Bears vs. Foothill Trojans + How To Watch

The Arvin Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Foothill Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Arvin is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Golden Valley on Friday. The Bears were just a hair shy of victory and fell 28-27 to the Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, Arvin had strong showings from Andrew Rosales, who threw for 211 yards and one TD, and Xzavier Brooks, who picked up 78 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, while Foothill put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Del Oro. The Trojans blew past the Suns, posting a 36-0 victory. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

Foothill's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Arvin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Arvin against Foothill in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
