Softball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Wins Going Away Against West Chicago

West Chicago typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Riverside-Brookfield proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Wildcats 10-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverside-Brookfield and bumps their season record up to 10-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for West Chicago, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside-Brookfield will face off against rival Elgin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Chicago is set to challenge their familiar foe Streamwood at 4:30 p.m. on May 8.
