Baseball Recap: Massaponax Takes a Loss

Massaponax and Potomac Falls squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Massaponax had to settle for second. They lost 13-4 to Potomac Falls.

Jake Perkins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Ivan Scott was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Massaponax's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Potomac Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Massaponax does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Potomac Falls has already played their next game (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
