Basketball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Christian Heritage Academy had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-2 to make it nine. They were outmatched by Lycee Francais de Chicago and fell 72-33. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 55-20 to Lycee Francais de Chicago when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Christian Heritage Academy still got an impressive performance from Charlie Van Tuinen, who posted 19 points.

As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.

Lycee Francais de Chicago found their leader in sophomore Jordie Machara, who went 7-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Machara has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bonheur Balita, who shot 75% from the field on his way to 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lycee Francais de Chicago is set to challenge their familiar foe Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
