Soccer Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland lost against Lawrence County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Richland Raiders fell just short of the Lawrence County Wildcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Richland and nudges their season record down to 1-4-1. As for Lawrence County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Richland will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Battle Creek at 7:00 p.m. on March 27th. Lawrence County also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
