Volleyball Recap: Penn Comes Up Short

Penn's tournament run continued when they took on DeKalb on Saturday. The Kingsmen fell just short of the Barons by a score of 2-1.

Liam Carter paced Penn's offense, picking up 13 kills. Carter got some help from Jacoby Forbes and his 22 assists. Forbes was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Penn's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for DeKalb, their victory bumped their record up to 3-20.

Penn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against South Bend Riley on the 3rd. As for DeKalb, they will challenge East Noble at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
